You may already have a listing — here’s what that means.
Before + After researches Austin aesthetic practices and builds their listing from publicly-available information. You did not agree to appear, and you have not implicitly agreed to anything by appearing. This page explains why the listing exists, where the facts came from, and what your options are.
Why does this profile exist before we signed up?
Our job is to make it easy for a customer to find a trustworthy aesthetic provider in Austin. We do that by building a strong first-impression page for every practice we can responsibly represent using publicly-published information — regardless of whether the practice has signed up with us. That means you may find your practice here without ever hearing from us first. The listing is our work; you have no obligation created by it.
Where did the information come from?
- Google Business Profilename, addresses, phone numbers, website, public rating and review count
- Your own practice websiteservices described publicly, publicly-listed pricing, team pages, imagery you have published there
- Public professional recordspractitioner license numbers, board certifications, delegating physician where required and publicly listed
- Public social presenceactive Instagram handles, publicly-declared booking vendors
- B+A editorialsections marked as our own commentary, distinguishable from provider-attested facts
We do not include private data, patient or customer identity, or medical detail. We do not fabricate practitioners, credentials, ratings, availability, or reviews, and we mark anything ambiguous rather than presenting it as verified.
How do I claim it or report a correction?
Claim the whole listing
Every unclaimed public profile carries a “Start claim review” action for practice owners. Submitting it opens a bounded identity review handled by a person at Before + After. If we approve the claim, you gain owner-level access to a Provider Workspace where you can review and correct what appears publicly. Nothing on the profile changes unless the claim is approved.
To find your listing, search the Austin directory. If your practice is not there yet, apply through /for-providers — that is the intake path for practices we have not researched.
Correct a specific fact
For a single incorrect fact on your listing — a stale price, a departed practitioner, wrong hours — use the “Report inaccurate information” affordance at the bottom of the profile. Reports go to the same review team. You do not need a Before + After account to submit one.
What actually changes when we claim it.
Four things about a Before + After listing are decided independently. Claiming controls one of them. The rest still require the work they always require.
Claim authority
Who controls the listing. Until a claim is approved, no one from the practice controls the page; it is our editorial and research work. An approved claim gives the claimant owner-level access to the Provider Workspace, where they can review, correct, and enrich what appears publicly.
Provider confirmation and corrections
What the provider has attested to or corrected. Fields carry provenance — some are publicly observed, some are provider-confirmed, some remain under research — and the profile distinguishes them where the distinction matters.
B+A verification and approval
What Before + After has independently reviewed against The Standard: real pricing, real Google presence, real photos, real team, verified booking flow. Verification is a separate judgment; it is not automatic on claim.
Publication and request paths
Whether the page is publicly listed and whether customers can request a booking. Publication and the request path are independent axes from claim state — a researched profile may already be published with a supported pricing signal, verified availability, or a request path in place; a claimed profile may not yet meet the publish gate. Nothing here changes solely because a claim is submitted.
In short: claiming establishes authority. It does not by itself verify pricing, publish the listing, enable customer bookings, change your address, or move your listing to another location.
